Dock Intelligence is here to make the job of taking great care of patients easier, more efficient and highly reliable. AI summaries are a great way to process all the work being done in Dock to better understand patients and the work needed to ensure we’re doing our best for them. These summaries can be an easy way to get you up to speed or communicate with your colleagues.
Using Summaries to Get Up to Speed
We worked with customers to define, develop and test our AI-powered summaries. The goal here is to summarize and surface information providers need on-demand – to complete the next step, to understand where a patient is in their journey, to identify any delays or bottlenecks, and more.
Patient Summary: Located in the patient profile, this tool summarizes all patient information and offers a variety of communication tools, i.e. share Next Steps with a colleague
Workflow Summary: Discover this tool in the list view next to the workflow name and place your cursor over the Intelligence icon for summary options
Task Summary: Located by opening the task drawer and selecting the Dock Intelligence icon for summary options surrounding the many fields within that task
Share Summaries with Collaborators
To share these summaries with teammates and collaborators, simply copy/paste your preferred summary in an email to securely send details to the desired recipient (always be careful about sharing PHI over email). If you are a Dock Pro customer, you will be able to email directly from your AI summary widget via our HIPAA-compliant email provider, Paubox.
Write Back to the EHR
Double documentation and having administrative/operational systems out of sync with your EHR are burdensome realities that reduce the impact of a team or a user’s productivity. Our AI summaries allow users to seamlessly write back summaries of the work in Dock to the EHR.
This feature is available to Pro and Enterprise users who have EHRs capable of this functionality (ie. Epic/Cerner/athena/DrChono/Elation/Healthie) and require our professional services team to help set up at an additional cost.
