TIP: New Home Screen Filtering

Narrow your Home Screen view for "My Tasks" and "Org Tasks" by selecting options from our new default filters -- or add your own filters for a custom view.

The original Dock platform landed you on a Home Screen upon entering the product that had two tabs (My Tasks and All Tasks), as well as four default groups that were face up (overdue, due today, no due date and due in next 7 days).

What’s Changed

We found this was too limiting for users and took mental processing to understand the view.

We changed “All Tasks” to “Org Tasks” for a clearer understanding of what tasks you are in view.

We also changed how you determine what you see on Home Screen. We’ve added a filters button to the Home Screen where you can select from our default filters list or customize your own.

To make this view more meaningful, you are now able to “set up” the filters you would want to see on the Home Screen (see below).

Default Filters

Quick Filters are Dock’s defaults, and you can select what you want to see by clicking directly on the option you’d like: Overdue, Today, Tomorrow and so forth.

Custom Filters

Custom filters have a category and a name. First you need to pick a category, such as due date, assignment, custom field, and then the custom filter name or detail, for example Today, My Name, BCBS, etc.

The Categories

Name or Detail

Don’t forget to save this filter so you can quickly jump to this view in the future.
